Description We are a private, non-profit school, serving students with significant disabilities located in Rochester, NH and need additional staff to be part of our dynamic team.

The Special Education Teacher is responsible for all aspects of classroom management; implementing student Individual Education Plans (IEP's); and all class activities related to school based and community instruction in accordance with school goals and objectives in a team environment.

All positions are full time running on the Rochester school year calendar plus a twenty day summer program.

Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Special Education or Child Development, or equivalent as determined by the NHDOE. NHDOE certified in general special education.

EXPERIENCE: One year experience as a teacher or classroom assistant of special needs students with significant disabilities.

Benefits

The Monarch School contributes 95% towards employee health insurance, covers 75% of the cost for employee's dental insurance, and makes a 50% matching contribution, up to 3% of employee's salary, to our retirement plan.
