Mid Coast Hospital is Maine's most modern hospital having opened in a completely new facility in 2001. We are an independent, community, non-profit hospital accredited by the Joint Commission. Our active medical staff, representing 30 primary care and specialty areas, is the envy of most communities. We're located in Brunswick, Maine (with extensions in the surrounding towns of Bath and Topsham). Hospital patrons and staff live and work in one of Maine's most beautiful and desirable regions. In fact, Brunswick has twice been named one of the 10 best places to retire in America by Money Magazine.

A Full Range of Healthcare Services, Close to Home:

In 2001 Mid Coast Hospital opened as a newly-consolidated facility, offering a depth and breadth of services uncommon in a community of our size. These include in- and out-patient surgery, advanced diagnostics, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, a sleep lab, and wound care center. We are proud of a Maine's newest and most modern medical center and hope you are too.

Our state-of-the-art maternity care center features cozy rooms and a welcoming nursing staff, intent on making mom comfortable and families feel at home.

Our emergency and intensive care departments are staffed, round-the-clock, with nurses and physicians, many of whom have advanced certifications.

Mental health services include our inpatient unit as well as out-patient mental health and addiction programs?some of which work with patients in their own homes.
